  Asiya Mwasudi was arrested on the 1900 side of the Vespucci Canals on Prosperity Street at 8:20 PM due to complaints from a neighbor about a teenager using drugs in front of his residence. When LSSD arrived on scene, 14 year old Asiya Mwasudi was spotted deputies, the smell of marijuana was potent and the teenager appeared to have traits consistent with drug use. The deputies eventually went on to confront Asiya about her the lit joint in her hand, and she refused to drop it.
  
  Afterwards, the deputies decided to have her searched and brought to her parents home instead. She tried to refuse a frisk at first, but gave in during the second attempt after being warned by deputies that this would count as resisting. Asiya would allow the officers to frisk her, then when they searched her Jansport backpack it was revealed that Asiya had over 4oz (113gs) of marijuana in varying mylar packages and a WEIGHTMAN digital scale, leading to her being arrested.
